#47 Sun (8/7/22) - The dreams of Rodericus Barthius, Beckford's Vathek and Hinton's Persian King
Many (7) of the entries in Libro de suenos were attributed to Rodericus Bartius, Los que son números y los que no lo son (1964). Here is one:
The Incest
Caesar reports that, before crossing the Rubicon and marching on Rome, he dreamed that he cohabited with his mother. As is known, the outrageous senators who finished off Caesar with dagger blows were unable to prevent what was arranged by the gods. Because the City became pregnant with the Master ("son of Romulus and descendant of Aphrodite"), and the prodigious offspring soon became the Roman Empire.
